Fund Management

⚙️ Fund Management – System to Capital Execution

The Orypton Fund is managed through a structured, multi-tiered manager model that balances education, performance, and on-chain accountability.

This system ensures that investor capital is allocated only to proven individuals who have passed a meritocratic onboarding process and operate under DAO-approved constraints.

⮕ Step-by-Step Path

1

1. Certification Phase

  • User completes Fund Manager training in Orypton Academy.

  • Takes and passes the theoretical exam.

  • Receives access to a simulated vault (Orypton Zero) with mock capital.

2

2. Practical Validation (Orypton Zero)

  • User must prove strategy logic, discipline, and execution within the simulated environment.

  • On success, they complete a practical exam.

  • Receives an NFT certification (non-transferable), becoming a Certified Fund Manager.

3

3. DAO Participation

Certified Managers can:

  • Propose strategies to the DAO (e.g. rebalance a vault, shift allocation)

  • Vote on capital segmentation toward specific investment modules

  • Coordinate vault creation or closure in response to performance data

While they do not yet manage investor capital directly, they influence where funds are routed via DAO proposals.

4

4. Specialization Phase (Optional)

Certified managers may enroll in advanced training tied to a specific investment, directly related to the markets that operate in each of the smart contracts, which they must complete and approve, to have access to real capital.

Once approved, the manager will have access to accounts of:

  • $50,000

  • $100,000

  • $250,000

  • $500,000

  • $1,000,000

Upon completing this specialization and passing an exam, they become Specialized Managers.

⮕ Specialized Manager Accounts

Account Tier
Capital Provided
Monthly Fee (used as insurance)

Tier 1 – Starter

$50,000

$250/month

Tier 2 – Intermediate

$100,000

$500/month

Tier 3 – Growth

$250,000

$1,250/month

Tier 4 – Advanced

$500,000

$2,500/month

Tier 5 – Institutional

$1,000,000

$5,000/month

These fees act as an insurance deposit and are routed to a DAO-controlled vault to absorb potential deviations, slippage or performance penalties. Managers retain no ownership of the capital, only execution rights.

⮕ Capital Assignment Model

Once the DAO or the certified fund managers segment capital into a given smart contract (e.g. $1M into a Tokenized Real Estate strategy), the protocol allocates capital across vaults proportional to the weight of each Specialized Manager's account within that segment.

For example:

  • If three managers are assigned to a vault:

    • Manager A (Tier 3 – $250k)

    • Manager B (Tier 2 – $100k)

    • Manager C (Tier 4 – $500k)

→ They receive 25%, 10%, and 50% of the contract’s liquidity pool, respectively.

⮕ Role of Certified Fund Managers

All strategies deployed through the Orypton Fund are operated exclusively by NFT-certified managers who have passed both theoretical and practical onboarding phases through Orypton Academy.

These managers:

  • Operate with assigned capital provided by the Orypton Fund (no capital of their own required)

  • Are monitored in real-time by the Orypton AI Sentinel system

  • Must follow strict performance and drawdown limits defined in their contract

  • Pay a monthly subscription that acts as a form of collateral, serving as performance insurance and aligning incentives

Each manager is linked to a dedicated vault account, enabling DAO participants and investors to track their results transparently. Vaults may be capped, limited, or upgraded based on community vote.

This structure guarantees that capital is managed only by proven, specialized operators with aligned incentives—backed by training, constrained by code, and supervised by the collective intelligence of the DAO.
